Testimony:
I was brought up in Salt Lake City, Utah in a family of 6. I am the youngest of three brothers and one sister. Growing up I always knew there was a God and in many respects tried to live a good life. Like many kids I found myself caught up with the wrong crowd and started down the path of drugs and alcohol.
Through my teen age years I had big hopes of being a rock star. It was the thing that consumed me. I believed that if one day I could be famous, I would finally fill the void that was in my life. I thought that I could finally receive the love and admiration that I so desired.
I quickly discovered that being a rock star was not what God had created for me. Still lacking, I turned to bodybuilding. My thought was if people wouldn't give me their love I would have to come to a place where I could demand it. Once again God prove faithful by closing the door to a path that only brought glory to me.
In running into another dead end I felt hopeless and lost, but God was faithful to place people in my life who shared God's great love with me. God kept after me and continued until I heard His call. Finally my life had true meaning. The void in my life was finally filled. I could now feel the love that I so longed for. I knew that I was now accepted.
Isn't it wonderful knowing that He who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it? In hearing God's call, I knew that the only thing that would satisfy my soul was to share His love with others. For the last 14 years I have been working with high school students helping them to develop and discover God's plan for their lives. Now at the age of 38, God has brought my family and I to Eagle, Colorado to continue His work.
We are humbled by His call and grace in our lives and consider it an honor to serve Him.
